纽西兰华人乒乓球会（以下简称“NZCTTA”）是由众位华人乒乓球运动爱好者于2003年10月发起成立的，是一家获得纽西兰政府批准注册的非盈利社团组织，社团号码为AK1414259。
The New Zealand Chinese Table Tennis Association (NZCTTA) was established by several Chinese table tennis enthusiasts in October 2003. The association is a registered non-profit organization approved by the New Zealand government with its Society Number AK1414259.
NZCTTA成立的宗旨是推广乒乓球运动，提高会员的乒乓球水平，组织各种乒乓球比赛和交流活动。NZCTTA的运作秉承公开、公平、公正和守法的原则，欢迎任何种族、性别及年龄的人士参加球会各项活动
The mission of the NZCTTA is to promote table tennis and improve members’ playing skills. NZCTTA organizes a variety of table tennis activities including competitions, visiting and exchange, and other related social activities. The operational principles of NZCTTA are openness, fairness, justice and law-abiding. We welcome the participants of any race, gender and age groups.
我们球会的日常活动包括日间俱乐部和19岁以下青少年训练班。日间俱乐部（Day Club）每周一、三、六、日上午向全社会开放，活动形式以球员自由配对练习和比赛为主。日间俱乐部在过去十多年从未间断，深受奥克兰地区乒乓球运动爱好者喜爱。19岁以下青少年训练班在每周六下午举办，由两位专业教练主持，帮助社区的青少年提高乒乓球水平。 我们球会每年都举办各类团体和个人的锦标赛，也有面向全社会乒乓球爱好者的公开赛。这些比赛活动在奥克兰华人社区有着非常广泛、正面的影响，当地的华人报刊、电视台等媒体都积极报导我们的活动。除此之外，我们每年还会组织会员与国内和国际的其它乒乓球社团联谊交流。
The regular activities of the NZCTTA include Day Club and Under 19 Training Club. The Day Club is open to any players four times per week in the morning of Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. During Day Club sessions, players can find partners to practice and compete. The Day Club has continued for more than ten years and is welcomed and praised by table tennis players in Auckland. The Under 19 Training Club opens each Saturday afternoon with two professional coaches training youth to improve their skills. It is an important way to promote table tennis to youth. Except for these two regular activities, NZCTTA hosts various team and individual tournaments every year. These events have a very wide and positive impact in the Auckland Chinese community. Local Chinese press, television stations and other media have reported on our activities. In addition to above mentioned activities, NZCTTA also has varieties of programmes to exchange delegations with other table tennis associations both domestically and internationally.
经过十多年的发展，NZCTTA历史在册会员超过了1300人，现活跃球员近200人，涵盖了纽西兰不同种族、地域、性别和年龄的人士，NZCTTA的成长主要得益于我们共同参与和民主管理的文化。我们通过网站、微信、球馆布告栏、定期聚会等方式，努力同会员以及关心乒乓球运动的社会各方人士保持沟通，增加大家对NZCTTA的认同和归属感。
In over more than ten years development, there were more than 1,300 members registered in NZCTTA historically, and there are now nearly 200 active members registered in the current year consisting of different ethnic, geographical, gender and age groups. The growth of NZCTTA benefits most from the organisation’s culture of participation and democracy. We communicate regularly with our members, supporters and other related parties via website, WeChat, Bulletin Board and gatherings to increase the recognition and sense of belonging.
