各位会员和球友： 纽西兰华人乒乓球会（NZCTTA）2021 年度个人挑战系列赛又要开打了。今年的挑战赛 将于 5 月 15 日开始，8 月 15 日结束。 每位参赛选手报名费为$10。报名可以在每周 NZCTTA Day Club 找当值委员登记，或在 微信 NZCTTA 群里找管委会委员报名。报名费可以直接交现金给 Day Club 當值人員， 或转账至 NZCTTA 银行账户并注明缴费人员姓名。

和往年一样，我们采用 ELO 积分系统管理参赛选手排名，利用微信 NZCTTA 群发起挑 战、上交比赛结果、查阅每周最新的排名和上周的比赛记录。今年的奖品是红双喜三星 比赛用球。奖励范围包括：
- 每月最大积分进步奖
- 每月最活跃选手奖
- 赛季排名前三名奖
挑战赛赛季结束后, 我们还会举办挑战赛总决赛。 挑战赛排名前 8 或前 12 名的选手， 将被邀请角逐 2021 年度总冠军。具体细节将在今年 8 月挑战赛赛季末公布。
比赛规则和往年一样，这里特别提示几个要点请大家注意：
• 挑战对象维持在只能挑战排名高于自己 15 位以内。
• 在 Day Club 时间，我们会特别预留 1 号、2 号和 10 号球桌为挑战赛专用，并有 当值委员为比赛选手服务，如提供计分牌、验证比赛结果等等。我们建议大家尽 可能在 Day Club 时间段进行挑战赛比赛。其它时间的挑战赛比赛，由球员自行 安排球桌等比赛条件。
• 在纽西兰乒协（TTNZ）及所属乒乓球协会举办的正式比赛中，挑战赛选手之间的 比赛都可以作为挑战赛部分上报计入我们的积分排名系统。我们特别推荐奥克兰 乒协（ATTA）每周三、四的 Inter Club 比赛作为挑战比赛计算积分。这类比赛的 获胜方可以直接上传该比赛的计分单或填写本会的挑战赛计分单再上传至 NZCTTA 微信群。
• 除排名第一的选手外，参赛选手必须每月（月度奖励计算时间之前）至少完成 3 次以上的比赛。如果选手无法完成要求的比赛数量，NZCTTA 技术团队有权在当 月扣减该选手相应的积分。

The NZCTTA Challenge Series 2021
Dear players，
Welcome back to the NZCTTA Challenge Series! The Challenge Series for the 2021 season will start on 15th May and finish on 15th August 2021.
Entry fee for each player is $10. Entries can be registered in any NZCTTA Day Club session or via NZCTTA WeChat group. Players can pay entry fees in cash in any Day Club session or transfer the amount to the following bank account:

Just like the previous years, we will use Elo ratings system to manage the players rating points and rankings, use WeChat App to initiate challenge matches and publish the results in the 2021 season. The NZCTTA has also set up prizes in three categories to reward members’ participation and skill improvement. The prizes are DHL 3-star balls. The prizes include:
- Prizes for most improved players in a month
- Prizes for most active players in a month
- Prizes for top 3 ranked players at the end of the season
We will hold a Challenge Series Grand Final after the challenge season end. Top 8 or Top 12 ranked players will be invited to compete for the Grand Final champion. The details of the event will be announced at the end of challenge season in August.
We would like to highlight a few points about the challenge series this year:
• Players can challenge opponents up to 15 places above in the 2021 season.
• We will set table 1, 2 and 10 aside for the challenge matches in the weekend’s day club time. During these periods of time, the NZCTTA organizers could help to allocate the tables for matches, provide the scoreboard, and verify the results.
• We accept the match results between our challenge players in any tournament held by TTNZ or its affiliated table tennis organizations. Specifically, the match results from the ATTA interclub on every Wednesday & Thursday night are acceptable for rating calculation. In this case, the match winners should fill scoresheets and submit the results for the rating points.
• Participants must play minimum 3 matches in a month. Failure to do so will result in a rating point penalty that applies to everyone except for the #1 ranked player.
